Did you know that there is a BC Bird Trail? There is a video series exploring stories from the birding community and conservation efforts supporting birds and their habitat. Check out the BC Bird Trail for lots of information for novice and experienced birders.

Just outside of Errington is the home of the North Island Wildlife Recovery Association. They do amazing work to rehabilitate young bald eagles impacted by the recent summer heat waves across Vancouver Island. Check out the Central Vancouver Island Bird Trail at bcbirdtrail.ca for trails in Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo, and Cowichan. You can do them all on the suggested three day tour.
